Group Headquarters State
When creating an RFP there is a new required field on the Cover Sheet (Step 1) called, Headquarters State. This field will be used to indicate to the bidders in what state the group is headquartered. This information will help bidders ensure their bid complies with applicable state laws and will help them assign the proper team to the RFP.
In addition to the current 1-year and 3-year options, a new 2-year option has been added to the contract length field on the Cover Sheet (Step 1). This will allow brokers to specifically request 2-year pricing offers and will allow PBMs to submit 2-year pricing offers.
A new data quality check, called % Rounded Quantities, has been added to the Data Quality section of the Claims History tab. This check calculates the percentage of claims where the metric quantity is a round number. If 100% of the claims have rounded metric quantities, the tile will be highlighted in red.
During the creation of a claim file, PBMs may accidentally drop the decimals from the metric quantities. This can lead to significant errors when repricing the claims, as the quantities are used to calculate the Average Wholesale Price. If the quantities for even a few specialty claims are mistakenly rounded, it can have an outsized impact on financial calculations. The % Rounded Quantities data quality check enables users to quickly assess whether the decimals were dropped from the metric quantities in the claim file.
