The compare screen holds any version and option combination on a request, not just the latest one. You can pull prior versions into a comparison, label them so they are easy to tell apart, save the arrangement as a named view your whole organization can reuse, and generate a financial exhibit straight from that view.

Watch the producer walkthrough, a three minute tour of everything below. Opens in a new tab.
Add prior version options to a comparison
- In the Quote Manager, select the options you want and open the compare screen.
- Select + Add Version Options in the top right of the header.
- Each carrier lists its versions newest first, with a Latest badge on the most recent. Options already in your comparison are preselected. Carriers that have not responded show No proposal submitted.
- Check the options you want. The checkbox beside a carrier or a version selects everything under it, and the shortcuts across the top are Select all versions, all options, Latest version only, Firm only, and Clear all.
- Select Add to Compare. Every combination you chose displays in the comparison.
Heads up
Versions only appear here once the carrier's quote response has moved past New and Underwriting. If a response is sent back to one of those stages, its options drop out of this dialog and out of any saved view that included them.
Label a version
- Select + Add label next to the version you want to name.
- Type up to 50 characters. Labels like "Most competitive" or "No new laser with rate cap" tell you what a version was without opening it.
- The label displays as a pill. Select the pencil icon to change it, either in this dialog or later in the comparison itself.
Save and pin a comparison view
- Arrange the comparison the way you want it. Reorder the combinations and remove any you don't need.
- Select Save view and give it a name of up to 50 characters. Mark it as the default if it is the one people should land on. A request can have one default view, or none.
- Select Viewing to see every saved view on the request. Hover a row and select the pin icon to move that view to the top of the list.
- Pick a view from that list any time to load it. Pinning one replaces the view that was pinned before, which keeps the one you care about in reach as the list grows.
Note
Saved views belong to the request, not to you. Anyone in your organization with access to the request sees the views you build and which one is pinned or set as default.
Which version the Quote Manager displays
Each carrier accordion shows one version at a time:
- The version holding the won or bound option, when a carrier has one. The column header names it, so a won option on the first version reads Option (V1).
- Otherwise, the latest version.
- Proposal status, laser icons, network, no new laser, and rate cap all read from the version on display, so what you see at a glance matches the version you are working from.
Step 2 (of this release): build a financial exhibit from a saved view to include version details
- Load the saved view you want the exhibit built from.
- Generate the financial exhibit. It carries every version and option combination in the view, in the order you arranged them.
- Open the Request Reports History tab to see which view produced each exhibit. The saved view name sits in its own column beside the report name.
Note
The exhibit does not yet label each column with its version and option combination. That detail is coming in a follow-on update.
If a saved view is deleted later, its name stays on the exhibits already built from it, so the history stays readable.
