The Match Index is comprised of 12 criteria, each worth a point.
- Match Index % = Total Points Earned / Total Points
- A criterion with a Disqualifier will receive 0 points
- A criterion with a Warning will receive .25 points
- 100% = perfect match
Example 1:
- Assume the criterion for Min Deductible has a Warning but all of the other criteria had a full match.
- Total Points earned would equal 11.25
- 11.25 / 12 = 94%

Example 2:
- Assume the criterion for Min Deductible has a Warning, the State Exclusion has a Disqualifier and all of the other criteria had a full match.
- Total Points earned would equal 10.25
- 10.25 / 12 = 87%
