Match Index Scoring

The Match Index is comprised of 12 criteria, each worth a point.

• Match Index % = Total Points Earned / Total Points
• A criterion with a Disqualifier will receive 0 points
• A criterion with a Warning will receive .25 points
• 100% = perfect match

Example 1: 

• Assume the criterion for Min Deductible has a Warning but all of the other criteria had a full match.  
• Total Points earned would equal 11.25
• 11.25 / 12 = 94%

Example 2: 

• Assume the criterion for Min Deductible has a Warning, the State Exclusion has a Disqualifier and all of the other criteria had a full match.  
• Total Points earned would equal 10.25
• 10.25 / 12 = 87%
