Overview
This release brings smarter forecasting, better visibility, and fewer missed notifications.
Trend EQ lets you apply cost and utilization trend assumptions at whatever level of granularity you need — from broad, category-wide assumptions down to specific segments of your claim population..
The new Team Assignment Notification closes a long-standing gap by emailing users the moment they're assigned to an RFP, even after it's already been issued.
And a new Rapid Quote Indicator on the coversheet gives PBMs and Consultants instant clarity into exactly which profile was used to populate a bid.
Trend EQ
Trend EQ is a new feature that brings forward-looking trend projection into the pharmacy bid evaluation process, allowing users to apply cost and utilization trend assumptions directly to repriced claims and see projected financial results for the future contract period.
Accessing Trend EQ
Available within the standard financial summary workflow via the new Trend EQ button on the Calculate Financial Summary screen.
What you can do
- Apply cost and utilization trend rates across four standard drug categories — Specialty Brand, Specialty Generic, Non-Specialty Brand, and Non-Specialty Generic
- Build custom rules targeting specific dispensing channels, GPI codes, or NDC codes for more granular control
- Configure assumptions globally across all bidders or customize for individual PBMs
- Save and reuse assumptions across RFPs using stored Trend EQ profiles
How trend is calculated
All figures are entered as annual rates and compounded across the trend period using a midpoint-to-midpoint methodology. Four data pills at the top of the screen display the Effective Date, Historical Midpoint, Future Midpoint, and Trend Period for full transparency into the calculation.

Team Assignment Notification
Users are now notified by email when they're assigned to an RFP — even after it's already been issued. Previously, notifications only went out when someone was invited to a new RFP, leaving later assignees in the dark. This new notification closes that gap.
It's turned on by default for all users, and can be disabled anytime from the user profile screen.
Rapid Quote Profile Name Added to Coversheet
When a bid is populated using Rapid Quotes, the coversheet now displays a Rapid Quote indicator. Hovering over it reveals the name of the Rapid Quote profile used to populate the bid — giving PBMs and Consultants greater clarity into exactly which profile was applied.
