Team Assignment Visibility
Overview
We’re excited to introduce Teams Assignment Visibility, a significant enhancement to the Teams Assignment feature. This update gives your organization greater control over how internal team members are surfaced during an RFP workflow, allowing designated team members to monitor and track RFP activity without being visible to external parties.
Previously, all team members assigned to an RFP were visible to the other side of the market. This created a gap for organizations that needed internal stakeholders (such as managers, reviewers, or oversight personnel) involved in an RFP without exposing them as an external contact.
With this update, any assigned team member can be marked as hidden. These team members retain full access to view and track the RFP but are hidden from external parties and excluded from standard assignment-based notifications by default.
What's New
A new visibility toggle — represented by an eye icon — now appears next to each team member in the assignment component. This toggle controls whether a team member is visible or hidden externally or kept internal only.
- Visible (eye open): The team member appears to the other side of the market as before.
- Hidden (eye closed): The team member is kept internal only and is not surfaced to external parties in any part of the platform.
Hidden team members do not receive standard assignment-based notifications, including messaging notifications.
