Specialty and LDD Status by Guarantee Type

Users can now apply Specialty and LDD status by guarantee type. Previously, Specialty and LDD lists applied universally across both discount guarantees and rebate guarantees. With this update, users can explicitly designate whether specific NDCs are treated as Specialty or LDD for discount guarantees and rebate guarantees separately.

When uploading Specialty and LDD lists, two new optional fields are available: Discounts and Rebates.

These are true/false fields that control how each NDC is classified for each guarantee type:

• True – The NDC will be considered Specialty/LDD for that guarantee type.
• False – The NDC will not be considered Specialty/LDD for that guarantee type.
• Blank – Defaults to True for that guarantee type.

 

⚠️ Important: Users whose Specialty/LDD status does not vary by guarantee type can continue uploading lists as before, leaving the two new fields blank. Blank fields will default to Yes for both Discounts and Rebates.
